Talking Not All Lineman Use Computers

LA thoughts..............

Not all linemen use computers. And that's why I've not run into many of them that have worked with the Boss. I think LineTrash is the only one on here that has worked with my husband in the past.

I also think that is why some non-union linemen have not been here or are only reading. I don't know. I know my husband just likes to read this site at times. My first experience of him reading here was him laughing at Swamprat and SBatts cursing at each other.

I don't think he has been reading lately though. A few times over my shoulder and I told him to sit and read. Only a few times he has done that though.

I often wonder if he was in union, would he read more?

alot of hands dont take the time to use the com.I do sometimes but find my self getting frustrated trying to type what I wanna say..seeing as I dont know how to type .I first came to this site in 1997 when they started out, it was good fun to sit and argue with the other hands it used toget pretty whicked at times but nobody got hurt and all lived to tell about it .I dont have a tramp buddy so this is as close as I get fornow, things have changed alot in the trade union or non union Im sure your boss would agree, Like alot of old hands say "when women and children start doing linework its time to get out" LOL Shoots, go, leave ,more work for me I just wanna know why we dont play well with others. lol ALOHA CBOTTLES

Hey Bottles! At least you are having fun doing it!

Since writing this thread, I've ran into a few linemen that know and work with guys the boss has worked with---plus I know them.....but, I've yet to still meet up with one I know.

I have learned that some just don't get all "involved" with the politics here. Some just read and leave or join, read, and leave. NTTIAWWT..... but it would be interesting to come post to post with someone I actually know IRL.
