Default Lights Go Out When I..flush The Commode

Got a Trbl call one night...little old lady who lived way out in the oil field, the only customer past her was an oil well .........she was fed from a 5kva pot, had 4/3 al cable running from the pot pole to a lift pole with a 175w nightwatcher, and then to the house , but she only had a 2 wire/120V 60 amp loop.............sure eough, when she flushed the 'pot', all her lights went out, even the nightwatcher................I checked all the connections, and somehow the nightwatcher was on the same leg as the loop, so I swapped it, and had her 'flush' again.........no change........I took some amp readings, as she 'flushed', and finally figured it out!! She was on a well, for her water, and the well pump was trying to go bad, so when she flushed, the bad motor was drawing so much it dropped the voltage down to about 40v..come to find out, she or someone had put a penny behind the buss fuse in the disconnect for the pump...........a few weeks later I had had a service order to do a Temp Disconnect at the same place,,,she had an electrician, putting up a new loop, and a plumber replacing her well pump.........Just when ya think you've seen it all!!!!!!!
