If every member saw it the way you do, it would be a hell of alot easier for the leadership to concentrate on the difficult issues they face, instead of spending 95% of thier time on the 5% who dont get it. Nice job EL!!

They seldom attend union meetings where points are discussed. Even after the reality of a situation is presented, they insist that they are in the right, and the union is at fault for not representing them properly.
Often the same guys are the least safe, least productive members, go figure.... It gets tiring after a while, especially because the same guys bring down the morale of an entire yard, EVEN after their case has been fully reviewed, and the facts presented to them.
Yeah that!!!!!! They don't go to meetings and bitch all the time. Most members forget about "The good of the Union". It's all about what can I get.

Ummmmm Yep the guys that make all the noise are usually the same guys that never attend a meeting, Have no clue whats going on within the union, Nor understand how the union works.A union card does not give one license to abuse his priviledges nor shirk his duties. It does not exempt a man from being penalized yet tries to guarantee that he is treated fairly and in an above board manner.
