66Kv EARTH FAULT

Got some pictures and a story of what we got called to on FRIDAY (as it always happens). Some guys working in the nearby Sub yard (132kv-66Kv) watched this all going on and would love to see the footage taken. What was found was the center phase polymer insulator had failed resulting in it flashing over to steel Switch frame. Witnesses said the whole pole and structure was jumping 2 foot out of the ground!! This pole has a copper butt earth hence the forces making it bounce. The jumping pole also caused the bolts holding it on the pole to bend like a bannana. You'll notice to the pole just about emptied the whole it was sitting in too. Still in shock and awe at the forces that must have been involved here.
