sitting in the dark

Years ago this headlineman and I were working a weekend or a holiday,it was slow that evening. So he finds an disconnect order for non-payment,we head that way. Knocking on the door ,this goodlooking blonde comes out ,we tell her that we need to collect or she would be disconnected.Well we wind up cutting her out,and she asked us to wait for awhile till her boyfriend gets a money order................He leaves and she asked us if we wanted to come inside and wait,the headlineman looks at me and I look at him..............I whisper to him,what are we going to do inside,she has no lights and it must be dark................we stayed outside and waited,but I wondered about that woman,did she even know that it would be pitch black inside or something else.
