there is only one person you can trust, that is you..trust no one else. use whatever means you have to make sure you go home at night. yes you work with your pole buddy but make sure he is doing his own checks, that way everyone stays safe and understands that safety is THE most important part of your tail board.

Buzzing the line used to be an accepted practice, but a lot of company's would run you off their property if you did it instead of using a primary volt meter/ phase-tel, things have changed.

So is using a wet willow stick to phase a thing of the past or using your felt hat to snuff out the flames. Really glad those days are over......
