You guys..... So proud at your supreme , acute memory. I bet you also recall these lies..... Uh.. I meant commitments that we "are working towards"?
So funny, many polls are not even closed, yet you are justifying your losses already.

    Remember this?

"I promise 100% transparency in my administration."

"I promise NO NEW TAXES on a family making less than $250K a year."

"I will allow 5 days of public comment before I sign any bills."

"I will remove earmarks for PORK projects before I sign any bill."

"I will end Income Tax for seniors making less than $50K a year."

"I'll put the Health Care negotiations on CSPAN so everyone can see who is at the table!"

"I'll have no lobbyists in my administration.

    I do..

They were a figment of Saddam's imagination, and we couldn't take a chance he didn't have them.

Sorta like the promises the Prez used to get his job, pretty much a figment of his imagination and we bought em.

I'm starting to think the hardest thing a politician (R or D) does is run for election after that it's a breeze and everything is in the bag for them till they have to BS their way into another few years of a cushy job

When you inherit a "cluster F^*k" the size of the one the Prez inherited, it is pretty difficult to figure out where one should start! I'd say taking on a broken health care system, a corrupt banking system, Americans out of work, standing up for the middle class is more than I have seen any president even mention in the last 20 years.....and he still has over two years to go. I dont remember him saying "I am going to change anything over night," and for anyone to believe that he can is delusional.

It doesnt sound like a lot, but when you think of all the "freaking idiots" he has to deal with to get anything done, I'd say he's got a good start on "Change".....and I for one want some God damn change, but am also patient enough to know "Rome wasnt built in a day."

Default Obama already is the best president of the past 40 years

Obama already is the best president of the past 40 years

Halfway through President Obama’s first term he has a track record better than anyone's, going back to President Johnson

He has made health care accessible to all citizens and has made record tax cuts to the middle class while slashing nearly $200 billion in corporate welfare. He has made college more accessible for our children and Medicare more solvent for our seniors. On the social front, he has improved pay for women, and hate-crime protections for gays and lesbians while installing two young, female justices on the Supreme Court.

Obama prevented the collapse of the Big Three automakers, saving over one million jobs. He also invested $200 billion in clean energy. And don't forget he is brought 100,000 troops home from Iraq where the Bush administration spent $3 trillion. He also secured financial reform over Wall Street bankers and new ways to prevent another collapse while fighting the Republicans all the way.

Most important of all he has achieved all of this while moving boldly to ward off another Great Depression and put the country back on the path to recovery.

Bush freely admitted that Iraq/Hussein had nothing to do with the attacks on the WTC....he was just their loud mouth cheering squad after the fact. Was there intel of terrorist threats before 9/11 that were ignored? If so....I'd say Bush was trying to cover his ass with a knee jerk reaction, we may have dropped the ball last time.....but this time we are gonna take the ball and run all the way. What better way to divert attention away from the shortcomings before the 9/11 attacks than to plung into a war with Middle Easterners......and I am not saying nothing needed to be done......I just question the motive and the longevity. Dont we have sneaky little groups of people that can get into countries and "take out a badass" and sneak back out.....and no one is the wiser? That seems to me to be a better way to avert the loss of thousands of US men and women being put in harms way.
