Nice post...........tolex, and I have always felt the working man is gettin f***** without even a kiss when it comes to paying SS.

If they raise the retirement age to 70, Boner only has 9 years till he retires from golfing, lying, running his ignorant mouth, modeling 10,000 dollar suits, receiving gifts from the corporate buds, more golfing, those tiring tv interviews where he runs his mouth and says nothing, showing his arrogance, slamming President O., oh yeah, more financial gifts from big business, oh and oking trips to strip clubs for his staffers, he will be freaking exhausted by then.................

Oh yeah, I am sure he wont be needin any SS, after all the American pockets he's picked in his life, in the name of politics. Can you tell I despise that man?

    John Boehner

From Dickipedia - A Wiki of Dicks

John Andrew Boehner (born November 17, 1949) is an American Republican politician, United States Representative from Ohio, tanorexia sufferer, House Minority Leader, Nancy Pelosi nemesis, and a dick. In May 2009, weekly tracking polls indicated that Boehner remained the most unpopular politician in the United States, though it is unclear if this statistic factored in his favorability among elderly conservative women or the staff of Jamaica Me Tan in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Boehner spent most of his political career railing against corruption and scandal in Washington, though—ironically—it was a series of Washington scandals that directly resulted in the few professional successes Boehner's had, including his Congressional seat and House Majority leadership.
Undoubtedly eliciting countless giggles in high school Civics classrooms nationwide, the Congressman's surname is correctly pronounced "BAY-ner." Though—fittingly—its phonetic pronunciation is a colloquial term for an erection of the male reproductive organ.

    Early life

Boehner was born in Cincinnati to Mary Anne (Hall) and Earl Henry Boehner, not this man as many had suspected.
He grew up as one of twelve children, which, in part, explains why he would later so adamantly oppose including funding for those contraceptives in the original stimulus package. (Of course, it's common knowledge that unwanted teen pregnancies ultimately cost far more than sending a box of rubbers to some high school kids, but that would require Boehner to take five minutes of free time to think about it instead of doing all that manscaping.)
Boehner attended Catholic all-boys high school, an institution that spawns both social conservatives and closeted homosexuals with equal and astounding frequency. Interestingly, Boehner is a fellow alumnus with Ken Griffey Jr, another gentleman who would begin his professional career with incredible popularity among his fan base only to never accomplish anything.
From 1985-1990, Boehner served in the Ohio House of Representatives where he managed to have a distinguished yet uneventful tenure without getting too many bronzer fingerprints on his legislation.
    [edit]
    Political Career

In 1990, Boehner took advantage of the Republican politician disaster-scandal trifecta that befell Ohio Congressman Buz Lukens who was caught engaging the services of a prostitute. An African-American one. A sixteen-year-old one. For 40 dollars. (Though nearly everyone has denounced Luken, many do admire his frugality.)
Helping to lift the people of Ohio and their respected Senate seat being involved with an underage sex scandal, Boehner entered the United States House of Representatives where he would later be involved with a an underage sex scandal.
15 years afterward, Boehner would learn about creepy emails Congressman Mark Foley sent to a young page, but not tell anybody about it until months later. Except then-Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert, which he's "99% sure" he did. Overall, most people remember pretty clearly whether or not they helped cover up for a sleazy old man harassing children, but John Boehner is not most people.
In his first year, Boehner and six other congressmen formed the gang of seven. Among the major achievements of the gang of seven are the public exposure of politicians who'd overdrawn their bank accounts and cracking down on the free ride that congressmen were getting at that national travesty: the congressional barbershop. Not so much a "gang" as, say, a coterie, this "gang" was just like the Crips if instead of robbing and murdering people, they solely went around committing municipal code violations.
Boehner was one of the chief authors of the Contract with America, a document that many citizens remember existing though no one can actually recall the contents of it. This may be attributable to the Contract's ardent support for a series of initiatives that many Americans agreed with in principal but realistically, couldn't give a shit about.
In 2006, Beohner again displayed his aptitude for taking advantage of other people's criminal indictments when he succeeded Tom Delay as the House then-Majority leader.
Electrifying conservatives with his stern pro-business, anti-corruption, small government positions, Boehner would quickly disappoint most of his supporters by approving $9.8 trillion dollars in President Bush's budgets. While most lawmakers are unable to follow through on every promise they make, it is uncommon for a politician to do the complete inverse of every promise they made.
"Thankfully," following the 2008 Presidential election, Boehner returned to his original stance against major government spending once it became politically convenient. While it's difficult to argue that he has displayed consistency in his Republican "beliefs," there is one position he has been able to stringently adhere to: being opposed to whatever the overwhelming public opinion supports at the time.
    [edit]
    Political positions

While Boehner has recently become known for insulting reporters haircuts and skipping out on the supposed Republican "revolt" to play golf, Boehner does have several notable policy positions.
    • In 2007, Boehner argued that benchmarks for the Iraq war would ensure failure, a measure supported by the Democrats. In weeks prior, he agreed with President Bush that benchmarks for the Iraq war were "good" and "very important." Many political scientists argue that it's probably not a great sign if one of the leaders of your party can't make up his mind about a central issue of an entire campaign cycle.
    • Boehner does not believe in human contribution to global warming and once remarked: "The idea that carbon dioxide is a carcinogen that is harmful to our environment is almost comical. Every time we exhale, we exhale carbon dioxide. Every cow in the world, you know when they do what they do you've got more carbon dioxide." While many scientists have taken exception to the 15 things that are factually incorrect about that statement, researchers are most surprised at Boehner's inability to just say the word "defecate."
    • Boehner receives campaign donations from what is essentially the set-up to a joke about republican stereotypes: pharmaceutical and cigarette manufacturers, health insurance companies, oil companies, military contractors, and Native Americans. One wonders how that Crying Indian would feel about donating his casino profits to a guy who has defended his environmental position by citing cow shit.
With no immediate solution to the current recession, it remains to be seen if Boehner will remain firm, rigid, and inflexible in his positions or whether the potential success of the Democratic majority will cause him to shrink away limp, deflated, and flaccid.

There is a big difference between being an asshole....which I admit there are many of in the Democratic party.....or even being a crimminal......as I will admit there are in the Democratic party also, and being overtly antagonistic and an enemy of the working man.....ie.......the middle class, which is the entire republican party.

As I have stated before......politicians are not my favorite people by any means.....they lie, they misrepresent, they have their own best interests at heart.....but Damn, the republicans are not even smart enough to PRETEND to have any regard for the middle class. They have no problem showing us(the middle class) that their only concern is for the wealthy, big business(which is run by the wealthy), and themselves(who are paid by the wealthy, which makes them one of them......the wealthy).......and I have no problem with regard to including the wealthy....but not at the expense, and disregard of the middle class.

PS....Swamp.....before you go making statements like I am jealous of the wealthy.......I am not......I am middle class and a working woman, and damn proud of it. Do I play the lottery in hopes of winning a million, and becoming wealthy? sure.....sometimes.......we all dream of not having to worry about paying bills, sending our loved ones to school, taking care of our parents in old age, having a little extra to have fun in life.....but I am not consumed with the thought of how unfair it is that I am not wealthy. What I am consumed with is the preferential treatment that is given to the wealthy(just because they are rich, and can buy favors)....and it seems to always be at the expense of the common people, the working people. The rules are stacked in favor of the ones with money and not the ones with integrity....not every wealthy person is without integrity(as I have wealthy friends) but get them in a group, where money making is a concern(at any expense)....not to grow the business, make it better, not to provide a better product or service, only to abuse the people that got you there, to take take take, and I have a big freaking problem with the wealthy and the politicians that open the door for their lack of ethics, and feed their insatiable greed.

Ya can hate em all ya want, but they ARE America. Making money is what capitalism is about. When they make money, they create jobs and expand.
    When they don't?.....

Big business is sittin on so much Cash right now, cause they don't know how much farther left barry and the democrats gonna push this country. And if barry extends the tax cuts to all that get them now, EXCEPT big business.....they're gonna just keep sittin on that cash.

The only way our economy will grow again is when big business decides it's profitable for them to start spending money and hiring again. GDP this quarter is down to 1.2 I believe. The engine of big business, is in neutral.

All your bitchin and hatin them, ain't gonna change that. Big Business MADE this country. And, if ya push big business too far, if the Govt. takes over too much or taxes them too much....pretty soon you'll be living with the taxes and nanny lifestyle of the "Middle class" of europe.

Big business or any business can't exist without the middle class and "Workers". It's the "Chicken and the egg" bit. Which is more important.

9.6% unemployment. Because?? Big Business Ain't spendin money. Hate em all ya want, but they are the lifes blood of America, and they WILL make a profit for their shareholders. Or....cutback, layoff, cut benifits....and just sit back with their money on the sidelines and wait to see what the govt is gonna do. And with this administration, that 9.6% is gonna be with us a few more years. AND, you and I both know, it's REALLY more like 11-12%.

No matter what democrats or republicans do, your life and EVERY "middle class" life in america.....is STILL gonna be middle class. A few more bones this year....a few less bones next year, and back and forth and back and forth.

Course you could always move to europe, or maby greece to truly know what govt made, middle class really is like.

It used to be when they made money they expanded and created jobs......NOT NOW! They first make money in part by taking from the working man, less money, less benefits, less hours, less people to do more work. Damn man, were you born with a silver spoon in your mouth, to completely disrespect the working class and side with corporate American and all their wrongdoings all the time. Where is your loyalty to your class? or are you a Saudi made millionaire? are you not in our class?

Second they make money by ignoring rules and regulations.....or better yet buying new ones. BP....case in point......if nothing happened.....fine......but how much money are the suckers making now? and look at the cost to the environment and the southern economy.

and.....they dont put it back in the business, they put it in the pocket of some man who they feel is the best at "holding the workers down, selling the product, buying favors, doing every thing the cheapest way possible, no matter the outcome.
You are right, big business cannot live without the working man.....but someone better tell them that......they dont seem to agree..........but the working man can live without big business, as is evident in the many small businesses around. Ever hear the saying......Bigger is not always better.....more true today than ever.....as I hear it from my customers all the time when they are reliving the days when we were a smaller company and provided better service at a fairer price. There biggest complaint is not with what we make as workers, but what the top of the heap makes a year, by taking from the employees and the customers.

Big business may have made this country in part, I will have to think on that further, I am more inclined to believe "human sweat" made this country. All the individuals like me contributed to this country. Big business can create the downfall of the middle class though.......leaving two classes....the wealthy and the poor, as the gap in compensation grows larger every day.

Dont be so cocky about being stuck in the "middle class".....it is fine and dandy with me.......as women have another option.........if ya wanna be rich and live the lifestyle.....ya just go out and hunt down some lonely man of wealth and marry him.......simple..........but.....for those of us that are just fine with being middle class and carrying on the fight for the middle class, to make it better, we stand by the integrity of the battle, and dont let the promise of "diamonds and pearls" divert us from what we think is right.

My grandpa always said.....there is great honor in hard work, we just dont think there is great honor in exploiting the hard work of others for personal greed.

and no....there is no arguing with me on this or unionism.......I live what I am.......middle class and union.

Swamp, you get me so pi$$ed off(as I know is your goal) that I forget some of my thoughts......

One final remark on the comments you made about big business......and your comment "a few more bones this year, and a few less next year, back and forth..........".....I can tell you have been out of the workforce for a while. There are only less and less bones every year......when is the "few more bones" theory gonna kick in? Our damn raises dont even begin to cover the increased cost of home heating fuel, gasoline, food, medical expenses, prescriptions, insurance contributions, electricity, taxes, vehicles, clothing, etc etc etc, not to even mention the people that are not lucky enough to have a decent paying job like we have, but still have to pay the same bills we do.

Ummmmm wanna hear My take on the Middle Class? I bleve we( the middle class) serve as a kind of a buffer tween the poor nekkid & starvin and the rich.As it stands now The poor nekkid n starvin steal from the middle class to try n do a tad better in life. As the middle class( US) begans to dwindle, at some point the Poor nekkid n starvin will hafta start stealin from the rich folks Kause their wont be enuff of us( Middle class) to support em no more.
Now the poor nekkid n starvin are gonna be stealing from the rich who will be busy stealing from the middle class( US) and our numbers will further dwindle.Eventually there wont be nun of us left n the rich will hafta steal from one another kause the poor nekkid starvin guys got nothin to steal.
I kinda know this seems a bit contrite But if ya think onnit a tad when ya read the news It is the middle class that the poor steal from. And stealing from the middle class is exactly where the rich got mosta theirs.
Anyhow its definately the wealthy people thats the driving force behind the shrinking middle class ( US).I just wunder if they have thunk it out very well.
I betcha Swamp would squeal like a ole woman if he thunk sumbody stole frum him, Yet its a fact of life for most everbody else. Mite Better think onnit a tad there swamp unless you think yer as good at swipin as yer filthy rich counterparts. And since yera Publican I dont bleve yer enywheres near smart enuff to compete with that bunchha cutthroats. Jus fer whut its werf................................
