This was a while back before cell phones when our company was experimenting with giving the lineman on call a pager to carry and our answering service had the software to send out the calls when they came in. Anyway I found out this pager company(motorola I think) had a website where all you had to do was punch in the pager number and a message and hit send. Well, it was real simple for me to send my own message to the dude on call: Lady urgently wishes to speak to someone regarding pole hole needing filled in , contact Patty Kates @ XXX-XXX-XXXX ASAP. Well, the number I actually used was to a local escort service. I didn't get to listen to the call, but I did have to avoid that dude for a week or two.
