Hi guys. I'm currently a lineman in Long Island, NY for PSEG. I've been looking into moving down to North Carolina. Does anyone have any information on working for Duke Energy, like what's the pay and how it is to work for them?

This reply may be way too late, but I haven't been on here in a while. You would be better off going to work for Dominion in VA, or maybe go to SC and work for Santee Cooper or SCE&G. I worked for Carolina Power & Light and Progress Energy for many years. Then we got taken hostage by Duke in 2012. Ever since, life at work has sucked! Duke couldn't care less what employees think, want, or need. Good luck to you, and I don't blame you for wanting out of those hard winters! One more place to look is in TN, at TVA.....Bill Johnson's got some sense!
