Reppy, not sure OLD was including everyone in the black race, least not the way I read it. I do believe around election time there is a lot of rhetoric about how the lower income less fortunate are going to get help and rise up out of their dilemma as long as they vote a certain way, then after the elections are over they all but get lost, set aside till the next election. I agree with you, people need to help themselves out of their situations by getting busy bettering themselves and not just sitting around waiting for someone else to do it for them. . . that's American to make your way in this world.
