IBEW LOCAL #47-Riverside- Questions

Is Local #47 only Lineman or do they also have inside wireman apart of them? (Sorry if the lingo is incorrect)

If so what is the pay-rate compared to that of the lineman.

The reason I ask is... I was told with my experience as a maintenance electrician in the industrial field (steel mills, factories, production lines) for about 6 years- that I would be best suited as an inside wireman with Local 47.

47 is an outside and utility jurisdiction, LU 440 in riverside ca has inside jurisdiction which is what you're looking for. Go on IBEW.org and search local union info.
