      Default Best way to break in and get experience?

      I really want to be able to get into an apprenticeship in the future, but I have no experience in the field at all. I know common advice is to go down to the hall and sign the books, but here in Southern California the books are a long shot at best with no experience. Is my only other option Lineman school? I really want to get hands on experience and will do any grunt work it takes to get it.

      Anyone have any advice?
