Camper/trailers?

Just graduated SLTC and got a job in Texas as an apprentice. Haven't found much from searching the forums but I'm curious as to what everyone's opinions are to campers/trailers. Worth it? Was thinking about buying a camper for my truck and living in that during the work week and take the 4-6 hour ride home to a condo I would get? Just wondering what you experienced lineman do? I'm 23 and single. Working for a contractor I know there is alot of travel time. Thanks for the help

IMO It's a lot nicer than hotelin it, in some cases you'll save money in some you wont. The down time your not using it you still have to make that pmt and do the upkeep. Lot more home-ey and you can cook I like having my personal space.
