good too see people are still active in here.. forum was dead for months..
anyways.. it all depends how many apprentices the JATC needs.. remember your number is good for 2 years i think, however...
the study guide is available online, study that it helped me.. after that it can be up in the air.. heard a lot of different stories.. people take months to hear back.. some people said it took weeks...
yep.. i tested and then got my physical test like 2 or 3 weeks later.. then didn't hear anything.. kept applying and then finally like 3 months later got n interview, they made me an offer the next...
someone told me (not a reputable source) that it was going to be faster this time than before.. i heard something like 6 months?
maybe you can sign the ground man books at whatever local you want to work out of while you wait for your apprentice interview, just make sure you have all your certs and be ready for the call

Yep, i tested the same day as you OZZY but have yet to get an interview date, they told me the same day that i passed the physical. Yes i do think they are backed up well thats what the hiring people...

yea Ozzy i joined and stayed inactive as i was only a student and didn't really know anything, hopefully now i can stay more active

I was there today too, where you there at 8:30 or 12:30?.. test wasn't to bad, math was pretty tough i got through problem 13. Hopefully we passed, good luck!
