Just curious, what are your guys rules on DUI suspensions? I know it has to be one of the worst and most common with us, but is your company willing to deal with a cdl loss with lineman? What about apes and operators? my co-op has one with an ape right now, but he has to be one of the best apes to come through our co-op, and everyone on the dock doesn't want to see him go. But of course we all know it isn't up to the swinging ****s if someone has to drag or not. It's the **** gf's and supers, hr and all the other guys that don't even know or work with the guy. Does the circumstanses of the dui make a difference? Just looking for somei nfo , and possibly some ammo... Thanks !!

I agree...the people that make the decision aren't the people who know he is an asset.........problem is also that the Feds can and will pull his license...and without a cdl, it's kinda tough in our trade........

He got one and didn't get a lawyer and just plead guilty. However the Judge did allow him to drive at work. It wasn't too bad in that aspect. He actually didn't get a suspension but just a restriction I guess. Said his wife had to drive him to and from work. But he was only allowed to drive co. vehicles while at work.

Depends on the state laws and the Judge I guess. This was in Colo. a rather long time ago. Need to get a lawyer and work out a deal with the DA. If it's already been decided then I guess you're out of luck.
