It stupid bull****. My previous address was in Tucson and I tell you what the illegals were horrible! Since I've left its gotten alot worse. Now the governor stepped up and did what "barry" wont. and folks get pissed and boycott the state. All I wanna know is what nationality these folks are that are pissed? A real american shouldnt be upset in the slightest. In fact they should be happy that "change is a commin"..

I don’t know how everybody else feels about it, but to me I think Hispanic people in this country, legally or illegally, made a huge public relations mistake with their recent demonstrations.
I don’t blame anybody in the world for wanting to come to the United States of America, as it is a truly wonderful place. But when the first thing you do when you set foot on American soil is illegal it is flat out wrong and I don’t care how many lala land left heads come out of the woodwork and start trying to give me sensitivity lessons.
I don’t need sensitivity lessons, in fact I don’t have anything against Mexicans! I just have something against criminals and anybody who comes into this country illegally is a criminal and if you don’t believe it, try coming into America from a foreign country without a passport and see how far you get.
What disturbs me about the demonstrations is that it’s tantamount to saying, “I am going to come into your country even if it means breaking your laws and there’s nothing you can do about it.”
It’s an “in your face” action and speaking just for me I don’t like it one little bit and if there were a half dozen pairs of gonads in Washington bigger than English peas it wouldn’t be happening.
Where are you, you bunch of lilly livered, pantywaist, forked tongued, sorry excuses for defenders of The Constitution? Have you been drinking the water out of the Potomac again?
And even if you pass a bill on immigration it will probably be so pork laden and watered down that it won’t mean anything anyway. Besides, what good is an other law going to do when you won’t enforce the ones on the books now?
And what ever happened to the polls guys? I thought you folks were the quintessential finger wetters. Well you sure ain’t paying any attention to the polls this time because somewhere around eighty percent of Americans want something done about this mess, and mess it is and getting bigger everyday.
This is no longer a problem, it is a dilemma and headed for being a tragedy. Do you honestly think that what happened in France with the Muslims can’t happen here when the businesses who hire these people finally run out of jobs and a few million disillusioned Hispanics take to the streets?
If you, Mr. President, Congressmen and Senators, knuckle under on this and refuse to do something meaningful it means that you care nothing for the kind of country your children and grandchildren will inherit.
But I guess that doesn’t matter as long as you get re-elected. Shame on you.
One of the big problems in America today is that if you have the nerve to say anything derogatory about any group of people (except Christians) you are going to be screamed at by the media and called a racist, a bigot and anything else they can think of to call you.
Well I’ve been pounded by the media before and I’m still rockin’ and rollin’ and when it comes to speaking the truth I fear not. And the truth is that the gutless, gonadless, milksop politicians are just about to sell out the United States of America because they don’t have the intestinal fortitude to stand up to the face reality.
And reality is that we would never allow any other group of people to have 12 million illegals in this country and turn a round and say, ”Oh it’s ok, ya'll can stay here if you’ll just allow us to slap your wrist.”
And I know that some of you who read this column are saying “Well what’s wrong with that?”
I’ll tell you what’s wrong with it. These people could be from Mars as far as we know. We don’t know who they are, where they are or what they’re up to and the way the Congress is going we’re not going to.
Does this make sense? Labor force you say? We already subsidize corporate agriculture as it is, must we subsidize their labor as well?
If these people were from Haiti would we be so fast to turn a blind eye to them or if they were from Somalia or Afghanistan? I think not.
All the media shows us are pictures of hard working Hispanics who have crossed the border just to try to better their life. They don’t show you pictures of the Feds rounding up members of MS 13, the violent gang who came across the same way the decent folks did. They don’t tell you about the living conditions of the Mexican illegals some fat cat hired to pick his crop.
I want to make two predictions


No. 1: This situation is going to grow and fester until it erupts in violence on our streets while the wimps in Washington drag their toes in the dirt and try to figure how many tons of political hay they can make to the acre.
No 2: Somebody is going to cross that border with some kind of weapon of mass destruction and set it off in a major American city after which there will be a backlash such as this country has never experienced and the Capitol building in Washington will probably tilt as Congressmen and Senators rush to the other side of the issue.
I don’t know about you but I would love to see just one major politician stand up and say, “I don’t care who I make mad and I don’t care how many votes I lose, this is a desperate situation and I’m going to lead the fight to get it straightened out.”
I don’t blame anybody for wanting to come to America, but if you don’t respect our immigration laws why should you respect any others.
And by the way, this is America, and our flag has stars and stripes. Please get that other one out of my face.

Legislation could save PA taxpayers more than $728 million annually
Citing mounting taxpayer costs combined with the $1 billion Rendell budget deficit, lost jobs and ever-increasing crime resulting from Pennsylvania’s illegal alien invasion, Representative Daryl Metcalfe (R-Butler) today introduced the newest and toughest addition (House Bill 2479) to the National Security Begins at Home legislative package.
“With the federal government currently AWOL in fulfilling its constitutional responsibilities to protect American lives, property and jobs against the clear and present dangers of illegal alien invaders, state lawmakers from Arizona to Oklahoma, Georgia to Utah and now Pennsylvania are left with no choice but to take individual action to address this critical economic and national security epidemic,” said Metcalfe. “The purpose of this legislation is to offer every illegal alien residing in Pennsylvania two options, leave immediately or go to jail. Whether you came to steal Pennsylvania jobs or to leech off of our state’s fraud-ridden, ‘close your eyes and verify’ welfare system, once this law is enacted there will be absolutely no economic incentives for you to remain here.”


Metcalfe’s Arizona-modeled legislation would provide state and local law enforcement with full authority to apprehend Pennsylvania’s estimated 140,000 illegal aliens and several other sweeping reform measures, including:
Creating a new criminal offense for illegal aliens who violate federal law by either willfully failing to register as an alien or failing to possess proper proof of such registration when stopped for another primary offense such as a traffic violation.
Requiring law enforcement officers to attempt to verify the immigration status of suspected illegal aliens.
Creating a new criminal offense for persons who are unlawfully present in the United States and are an unauthorized alien applying for work.
Allowing law enforcement officers to arrest illegal aliens for any public offense which would warrant removal from the United States.
Creating a new felony offense for intentionally smuggling illegal aliens for profit; and authorizing law enforcement officers to impound any vehicle driven by an illegal alien, or used to transport illegal aliens. House Bill 2479 also incorporates several other previously introduced National Security Begins at Home provisions, including cracking down on “Sanctuary” cities, employers who refuse to use the federal government’s FREE e-verify system to verify the immigration status of potential employees or that knowingly hire illegal aliens; and ending access to public benefits without verification of lawful status within the United States.
Offering support for House Bill 2479 during today’s press conference included Kathleen Appell, Citizens for Immigration Control in Pennsylvania; Mariann Davies Esq., You Don’t Speak for Me; Jeff Lewis, national director, Federal Immigration Reform and Enforcement Coalition (FIRE); and Ned Pfeifer, president, Eagle Forum.


Dan Stein, president of the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) was also on hand to once again highlight FAIR’s recent research on the ever-increasing taxpayer costs directly associated with Pennsylvania’s illegal alien population, which has nearly tripled since 2000:
Pennsylvania has the 16th largest concentration of illegal aliens in the United States.
Providing education to the estimated 48,500 illegal alien children (or 2.7 percent of K-12 students) attending Pennsylvania’s public schools costs state taxpayers nearly $660 million annually.
Expanding this initial price tag to include unreimbursed health care expenditures and incarceration costs, total state taxpayer costs for illegal aliens increases to $728 million annually or about $150 per Pennsylvania resident household. On the upside, FAIR’s report also concluded that the annual fiscal costs to Pennsylvania taxpayers associated with illegal aliens are not inevitable. Obviously this is a huge problem that needs to be addressed. I feel more emphasis should be put on the capitalists and private citizens who knowingly employ illegal aliens, that makes them an accessory in my eyes, which is a crime also.



with the stuff going on now, I have to ask the question, would people be so up in arms about the situation if they were sneaking in from say, England, Germany, Denmark, etc. I dont like the people that really dont give a ****, except for the fact that they are not "caucasian", so they disguise their racial intolerance as concerned citizenship. i dont like hyocrites.

Several years back I moonlighted as a waitress at a large chain truckstop, I worked with several Mexicans and South Americans. I dont know if they were legal or not, never asked them, but I can tell you this, they worked their asses off, and were really nice guys. They all lived together in a tiny little apartment, had one car to accomodate all of them, and sent a huge portion of their meager pay home to their families. the people that ***** they are taking american jobs, bottom line is a lot of the jobs they do have no americans standing in line for that job in the first place. By the way every cook or dishwasher or prep person from this area looked like clowns working compared to these guys from south of the border. My only complaint was the communication barrier, I struggled to understand them and vice versa.

So I have mixed emotions.....I have seen it first hand, and had a lot of respect for those guys, legal or not, but ......I also see the point of the people that come here and milk our system, and reap more benefits than natural born citizens, or come here to commit further crimes, but to paint them all as doing that is just plain BS.

I see both sides of the coin on this deal, I just dont know what the answer is though. I dont like Arizona's deal, but then again, I dont know how bad the crime is, I dont know if it is because of a concern over an actual problem or just a political tactic, while the politicians no doubtedly employ a couple illegals themselves to save some of their hard earned $$$$. I would love to know how many wealthy politicians employ illegal persons as domestic care, just to save their $$$ for more important stuff, like porn, bondage clubs, or buying little boys.

lived in Tucson in 2007 and 2008. Illegals were rampant. Border patrol is really a joke.. You could drive bout 2 hours to Nogalis and walk back and forth across the border no questions asked. Crime was horrible too! Countless nights waking to the dog barkin cause someone was out in the desert behind my house at all hours of the night.. MAny neighbors were robbed some while they were home... And this was in one of the "nice" neighborhoods... But right next to the neighborhood I lived in there was a random driveby on a golf course.. Shot a retiree and killed him.. No reason at all.. Then about half mile up the wash (river in monsoon season) there was a park with a lake everyone would fish at even cops right after a missing persons report was filed.. Fishing was good cause they found alot of folks floatin in that lake.

I feel that government should play a bigger role in the peoples lives when corruption is seeping out of every crevice of the current system. I dont want any handouts, I want rules that apply to all, and want them enforced to all who break them, not just the ones who dont know someone or who can buy their way out of trouble. I want standards. I want morals. I want ethical behavior. None of which I have seen too much of in recent years. I want people to make money, all they want, as long as they follow rules, rules of ethics and rules of laws, and fairly reward those that contribute to their goal of success. I want humans to act like humans, not animals. I want them to care for theirs first and still have concern for the others that share the planet with them....

I remember in the late 70’s when I worked in the ag areas that I now work, seeing the workers in the fields, and all of a sudden those white and green vehicles came in and it was as if the starter gun went off and the Boston Marathon started. Those fields were empty. It stopped in the early 80’s. No one is saying that anyone else did any better. The point is that when Az passed this law, which is not in effect yet, it’s what these “Politicians” said about it, never mind they never read it. And Holder is the worst. Why would all these darling capitalists be employing Mexicans? hmmmmmm......first thing that comes to mind is that they dont pay them as much as American workers...oh and they dont have to put them on the books......oh and the Mexicans will work their asses off in any conditions, safe or not. They turn a blind eye, and have for years as to the status of their Mexican workers. In order to make a dent in this immigration problem you have to also hit the people exploiting it for profit. They are "aiding and abetting." Hit them hard, and hit them where it hurts......in the ole pocketbook. If it is illegal for them to be here, it is illegal to employ, rent to, sell cars, etc., to them, .,..... again aiding and abetting. "People in this town are very racist toward Hispanic people. They think right away if you're Mexican, you're illegal, and you're no good," said Dillman, who has two young children by Ramirez and a 3-year-old who thought of him as her father.
On Dillman's fireplace mantel hangs a medallion of Jesus that Ramirez was wearing the night he was beaten. Ramirez had an imprint of the medallion on his chest, marking where an assailant stomped on him, she said.
Police Chief Matthew Nestor acknowledged there have been problems as the community — the birthplace of big band musicians Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey and home of Mrs. T's Pierogies — has tried to adjust to an influx of Hispanics, who now comprise as much as 10 percent of the population.
Teenagers have sprayed racially tinged graffiti and yelled racial slurs at the newcomers, he said.
"Things are definitely not the way they used to be even 10 years ago. Things have changed here radically," Nestor said. "Some people could adapt to the changes and some just have a difficult time doing it. ... Yeah, there is tension at times. You can't deny that."
'A street fight that went wrong'
Police are still interviewing suspects and witnesses. Preliminarily, though, they have determined that Ramirez, who worked in a factory and picked strawberries and cherries, got into an argument with a group of youths that escalated into a fight in which he was badly outnumbered.
"From what we understand right now, it wasn't racially motivated," Nestor said. "This looks like a street fight that went wrong."
Retired Philadelphia police Officer Eileen Burke, who lives on the street where the fight occurred, told The Associated Press she heard a youth scream at one of Ramirez's friends after the beating to tell her Mexican friends to get out of Shenandoah, "or you're going to be laying next to him."
Shenandoah Valley High School principal Phillip Andras said he knew little about the alleged involvement of any football players. A call by the AP to the athletic director was referred back to the principal.
But the players' possible involvement has added to interest in the case. Football, along with the town's many block parties and festivals, is a major attraction; home games typically draw thousands of fans.
Witnesses say race was a factor
Arielle Garcia and her husband, who were with Ramirez when he was beaten late Saturday, said they had dropped their friend off at a park but returned when he called to say he had gotten into a fight.
She saw someone kick Ramirez in the head, she said, and "that's when he started shaking and foaming out of the mouth."

The Garcias said they heard the youths call Ramirez "stupid Mexican" and an ethnic slur.
Burke, the former Philadelphia officer, said she saw shirtless youths swarming around Ramirez, called 911 and went outside, when she heard a youth yell obscenities and make the get-out-of-Shenandoah remark.
Despite the witness statements, Borough Manager Joseph Palubinsky said he doesn't believe Ramirez's ethnicity was what prompted the fight: "I have reason to know the kids who were involved, the families who were involved, and I've never known them to harbor this type of feeling."

Obviously no American workers were wanted for the job,,,,refer back to my previous post as to that problem, is that the Mexican's fault that he got hired, or is it the person that hired him?......He wasnt sittin on his a$$ collecting off the system....like so many of the "white trash" in this area. Ramirez was not killed......he was murdered. I cannot believe you would make a statement that you are glad about that. Being as this happened in this area, there was extensive local news coverage on it, all of which stated Ramirez was walking down the street to his home when he encountered this group of drunken teenage thugs. Words were exchanged, and a fight ensued. 6 young men. some of whom which were football players, against one man....but I guess murder is ok as long as it is against an illegal immigrant, specifically a Mexican.

I posted this story because it happened in the area that I live, why dont I post stories of tourists getting murdered and raped, well.....it doesnt happen here, pretty simple... but that story did. It is an embarassment and shows the side of this arguement that I hate......racial intolerance, it has nothing to do with the law, but a hell of a lot to do with hatred.

We have stone quarries every half a mile here where I live. There are 3 within a mile of my house. I go to a lot of them, I usually wire up the cts for their new or upgraded services. Guess what nationality the majority of the workers in these quarries are? Bingo.....Mexicans........They are the ones picking the rock, washing the rock, cutting the rock, and palleting the rock. Nasty back breaking work, you have to wear masks while cutting it, the dust will choke you. Been there and seen it. Why would all these darling capitalists be employing Mexicans? hmmmmmm......first thing that comes to mind is that they dont pay them as much as American workers...oh and they dont have to put them on the books......oh and the Mexicans will work their asses off in any conditions, safe or not. I understand that some serious work goes into the things we take for granted, seems a lot of the young people dont want any job that doesnt start at at least 50 thousand, and one that doesnt involve any actual physical effort, at that. I seriously believe that they are not taking jobs from Americans, as Americans woudnt lower themselves to do that kind of work.

The language thing is a big problem,,,,I agree, and making spanish our second language is not a good answer to the problem in my opinion. As I said, they are welcome to be here legally, just like all our recent ancestors, except for the American Indian, but I think learning the English language would be something they would want to do(and I know many do) to make their life easier here, and break a barrier that alienates them from us. After all, this is America, and we speak English. If I were going to sneak over the border to live in Mexico, I would sure learn how to speak spanish as it is their language, I would not expect them to learn English to accomodate me. It is a respect thing for their culture, one which should go both ways.

I guess we now get a touch of a feeling how the Native Americans felt when their beliefs and rights were being infringed on by the "white devils" I assume there was no legal immigration way back then, and they must have been in great fear for their culture, in a land that was ultimately theirs. Indians were not racists......We must have been the equivalent of a four headed monster to them........They only knew men with the same color of skin as their own........All they could see was that we were fairer skinned than they, thus we were white men.

On a serious note, it goes to the root problem, follow the money.

You have people willing to risk their own life, just for a better way of life for their families. Trying to become an American citizen legally, it from what I have been told because of the current situation can take ten years or longer.

So they get here, work the jobs others will not do, again they are above it, but if labor was organized, and if farmers, orchardist, lawn care, maids, nannys, ect. would be forced to reduce their profits by paying a decent wage, benifits, health care, those jobs would be more in demand by American workers.

Let me just tell you that my information comes from a son who runs his own small corporation. Let me also tell you that he pays NYS prevailing wages on 99% of all his contracted jobs.

Cause the "State" I live in grows most of the food you eat. We have a sh!tload of oil. If you don't know, steam generation came from where I live. It was started to get heavy crude out of the ground.....the bi-product was co-generation...excess steam...to power electric generators.....how almost all electricity is made, be it Nuclear or coal....boiling water to make steam....

They're all over. Hell I went for jury duty a few years ago. One guy showed up who couldn't speak English. He was actually born in OKC but went back, and grew up in Mexico. Technically he was a citizen but he had to bring someone to interpret for him. The judge excused him.

Used to work in Nebraska. All them Republican farmers and ranchers loved to hire illegals. Wonder why? My wife had a friend who was Mexican. Her uncle was in his 60's and had been illegal for over 40 years. Still worked on the same farm.

We had govt. plates on our trucks and pickups. One guy laughed as he pulled up to a field where they were hoeing some type of crop. Bunch of them dropped their hoes and started running. After they figured out it wasn't INS they came back, picked up their hoes and continued working.

They got a local auto dealer in OKC called Automax. Saw one in Tulsa that said Automex. They already got sections of OKC and Tulsa that all the signs are in Spanish and I expect a lot of the shop owners don't speak much English.

Most of the ones I've experienced are hard working people. We gotta figure out something. Gotta work on those Capitalist Republicans who hire them for starters. Gotta make them learn English.

Immigrant Farm Workers Challenge Unemployed Americans: "Take Our Jobs"

The argument that undocumented immigrants take jobs away from hard-working American citizens is an old refrain in the immigration debate.
Now United Farm Workers (UFW), the largest farm workers union in the country, is putting that argument to the test — just in time for the harvest season. The group launched the “Take Our Jobs” campaign (http://www.ufw.org/_board.php?mode=view&b_code=news_press&b_no=7195&page=1&field=&key=&n=661) yesterday, challenging unemployed American citizens and residents to apply for the thousands of agricultural jobs posted with government agencies.
Three out of four farm workers are foreign-born (about 85 percent), and an overwhelming majority, about 1.2 million, are undocumented immigrants. The campaign, UFW hopes, will show politicians and Americans that undocumented farm workers are filling positions that no one else would want to take.
“Farm workers do the work that most Americans are not willing to do,” says Arturo Rodriguez, the president of the United Farm Workers of America, in a press release (http://www.ufw.org/_board.php?mode=view&b_code=news_press&b_no=7195&page=1&field=&key=&n=661). “But our nation’s struggling economy has fueled an increasingly ugly debate on immigration policy and many Americans believe that undocumented farm workers are taking jobs from our citizens and legal residents.”
Anyone who’s done the job will point out, it’s not easy. The Bureau of Labor Statistics consistently ranks farm work as one of the nation’s most dangerous jobs, the Associated Press reports (http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5hRtyNDoFohO6_jtlVnSwPBZSYTogD9GHT2980), and it also entails long days. But workers aren’t even compensated appropriately. According to the AP, farm workers are excluded from worker compensation laws in 15 states and federal overtime pay.
Neither UFW nor other farm growers, who largely support a policy change or reform that could create a legal workforce, expect a major outcome — except awareness on the issue and maybe a few laughs. Comedy Central’s “Colbert Report” will feature the “Take Our Jobs” campaign on July 8, pointing out how unlikely it is that Americans will take the challenge.
But just in case, UFW is posting (http:/www.takeourjobs.org) a form through wich potential farm workers can fill out their names to receive a job application. UFW will connect the employee with a farm employer and provide training. As part of the campaign, UFW will send letters to U.S. lawmakers encouraging them to ask their unemployed, interested and legal constituents to apply for a vacant farm worker positions in one of the many locations across the country.

I have stated many times on the OT that I began my career as a human rights advocate with aspects of the Native American rights movement in the 1960's and 70's. My primary focus was on tribal groups without federal recognition and protection. As our activities widened, we linked with Latino and Chicano causes such as the United Farm Workers, which involved people of Native American ancestry without federal recognition. We worked wth events like The Longest walk, The Trail of Broken Treaties and traveled for various cross-national ventures, such as the direction of Brazil's Fundação Nacional do Índio (FUNAI0, and the plight of tin workers in Bolivia.

During this time, I spent time with and got to know many of the icons of the Native and Chicano movements, including Cesar Chavez. Cesar Chavez was a great man, a unique personality, deserving of the kind of admiration and reverence he has garnered. He was a humble man who, unlike many of his contemporaries, lived a very humble life. He fought like a lion to improve the lives, wages and working conditions of field workers, regardless of race. He was one of my flawed, but worthy heroes growing up and it was an honor to have met him.

He was fervently anti-illegal, taking that position because he understood that undocumented scab labor encouraged exploitation of field workers and undermined efforts to improve their negotiating positions. So, it is a corruption of his life, the work he did to protect legal workers, and his patriotism as a proud American that his legacy has been misappropriated by open borders activists, Janet Murguía of La Raza, a group he despised, and even the current leadership of the UFW (who have joined the ranks of the exploiters), in order to present him to this generation as an illegal immigration champion.

Another activist, who knew him when, attests to this revisionist history. Bert Corona, an open borders labor activist was quoted in Memories of Chicano History, The life and narrative of Bert Corona, a 1994 bio about him:

“Later in the 1960’s, when I began to organize undocumented immigrants full-time in the Hermandad Mexicana Nacional, I did have an important difference with Cesar. This involved his, and the union’s, position on the need to apprehend and deport undocumented Mexican immigrants who were being used as scabs by the growers…We supported an open immigration policy, as far as Mexico was concerned, that did not victimize Mexicanos because they did not have documents. We did not support deportation of people.”

In The Fight In The Fields-Cesar Chavez And The Farmworkers Movement, by Susan Ferris and Ricardo Sandoval, we read: “The union has sometimes been characterized as anti-immigrant because Chavez instructed union members to call the INS if they suspected undocumented workers had been brought into struck fields.” They further note: “In 1973, Cesar had sent his cousin Manuel to manage a contract dispute with citrus farmers near Yuma. The subsequent strike had been successful until growers started recruiting workers from Mexico. The union response was to set up what it called a ‘wet line’- a series of outposts maned by UFW supporters assigned to stop incoming workers from crossing the border in uninhabited desert areas and then crossing picket lines.”

It would be wrong to allow this foul attempt to mislead people about Chavez's position on illegal immigration and undocumented workers to succeed. Don't be sheep. Learn about Chavez and his true legacy for yourself.

What I found interesting was Chavez's position on illegal immigrants coming to the country.........Growers were hiring them to break strikes......He and his followers went so far as to turn in undocumented Mexicans............He didnt found the UFW, he cofounded the United Farm Workers Association which later became the UFW. He later was not on good terms with the UFW because they were exploiting illegal Mexicans. He lead a boycott against grape growers in the 80's, because they were using toxic pestisides on grapes. He himself was a field worker and rose to organize the farm workers........and whether you like it or not it is part of American history.

The article states that groups like the UFW are exploiting his reputation as a "champion for illegal immigrants," and that just is not true, he was a proud American and an activist for LEGAL Mexican-American workers.

Why did I know that an article about a Mexican Union man would make you go bonkers...no matter what he stood for.:eek: God, I am shocked.

Conclusion: Anti-immigration, selective immigration, screaming at people with no documents? As far as people that would argue that our ancestors came here legally.....hmmmmmm, how do we know that? And history shows us it was a lot easier and cheaper to become a citizen of the US in the past, than it is today. I am pretty sure if you take documentation as proof of citizenship, most African Americans that were kidnapped from the gold coast in the 1500, 1600 and so on......(bought with barrels of rum) sold as slaves in the British Colonies, were not legal Americans, of which the majority of African Americans today are decended from. I know some of you are eating that statement up......but think about it...........they did not come here of free will till the 1600s I believe, and were brought here to work in indentured servitude in the colonies.

I am not a hanger on of the past, no one can undo what was done, nor should we today make amends for the sins of our past......but..........we do have to be held accountable for the actions of today.

Woman puts bullet hole in attacker's SUV


LA MARQUE — A 56-year-old woman fended off an armed attacker in a Walmart parking lot in La Marque, pulled a pistol and put at least one hole in the assailant's fleeing vehicle, La Marque police said on Thursday.
The woman, whom police declined to name, struggled with a man trying to take her car shortly after 3 p.m. Wednesday, Detective Danielle Herman said in a written statement.
The woman, a concealed handgun permit holder, managed to grab a pistol from the car console and pointed it at the man, who fled to a silver or gray SUV driven by an accomplice, Herman said.
The woman fired several shots at the SUV as it sped away, at least one bullet striking the rear of the vehicle, she said.
Herman said the attacker was armed with a pistol.
Police are looking for an SUV with a bullet hole and Texas license plate number NMG 714.
Anyone with information about the vehicle should call La Marque Crime Stoppers at 409-938-8477.
