Hey EL....this might not be too kosher, but I found it hilarious. Instead of saying porn, I'll just say, it's our showbiz(or dance hall girl) names. What you do to know what your showbiz name is, you name your first pet's name and then the street you lived on when growing up. Mine is:
Frisky Park
I thought that pretty funny. :D What's yours EL?

Dang it! Yours sounds more like a ballroom dancing instructor! Sophisicated. Mine sounds like a waitress at a diner! Hehehehe...
I've not had my blood pressure raised in months. Usually it's up at the beginning of school year and at the end. :D
Oh! Have you seen Dear John or The Lovely Bones at the theaters lately? I've read both books but not seen the movies yet.

And I'm not too much of a Leonardo DiCaprio fan either. Although I was a Titanic fan. He is okay I guess and he has grown into acting, but for some reason, I can't adjust (or relate to his characters) to him like some other actors/actresses. Not that I'm a big celebrity fan, I'm not----to any of them. Although some are better than others. Too much trash out there on most of them, what is the truth?
Dear John is a book by Nicholas Sparks. If you aren't a Sparks reader/lover, I wouldn't bother. He has done many books into movies (Message in a Bottle, The Notebook, Nights in Rodanthe) and has another one after this one to be released in April (The Last Song) that Miley Cyrus is to star in.
They say that Dear John doesn't go by the book, which to me meant....maybe a happy ending??? I laugh because when I went and watched Nights in Rodanthe(with Diane Lane and Richard Gere) with my girlfriend, she was pissed at the end of the movie and turned to me and said, "You didn't tell me this was going to end sad!!!" So, now I tell her she has to read the books first and then we see the movies.
She has read The Lovely Bones and Dear John. What do you expect? Happy endings all the time? Not if a man writes it! But, I seem to like his books. Most women want happy endings, but that's not life......you don't get always what you want, right?
Now, you want to read a depressing book? Read "The Road", that's depressing!

Hey Slim! You can bust into any thread in the Ladies Lounge! Even if it's a few sheilas jabbering. :D
I liked The Shack. It's almost like The Lovely Bones, but done in a different way. It's a story about forgiveness and asking "why me?" did this happen to. I also loved the humor in it. You just don't expect humor in a story like this, but I liked it.
I can't even imagine being a parent and losing a child in this way. Just the thought hurts my heart and brings tears to my eyes.
Here is the preview to The Shack:
