I've been going since I was 39....just went again for the yearly this past Monday with my mother. It's just the chance that it CAN happen to you that makes most of us go.
It was recommended to me at 40 yrs old, however, I have known a good many women that have been told they have breast cancer in their 20's and 30's. Mostly their 30's---that I know personally.
Breast cancer doesn't run in my family, but it could. And that small window that says "it could happen to you" is what is very important to remember.
So, we are basically saying health is not an issue, it's money that is?
