Im looking to move from So Cal to Nor Cal. Im trying to get info on Journeyman level jobs with PG & E in or around Chico / Butte County. There website dosnt seem to have much. Does anyone have any info such as contact #'s, address', union info, or how they hire. Any info would be grately appreciated.

yah good luck. They will probly put you in general construction, which sucks a ****, cause you gotta travel system wide. division is the place to be. Of course we have some new vp from florida who is a ****, she brings with her bad news. its really got the guys pissed. Im on my way out you can have my spot. if i were yo id look at other coops.as far as gettin to chico area it will never happen till you have a lot of time and if you make it there in gc they dont stay at home very long. good luck man. Keep an eye on their website. they are talkin about movin to shift work so there may be more positions open soon. god knows we need the help. i just got back from temping up a sec crossarm that we should have changed and the cutthroats said temp it up and go home. dam im fed up with these ****s. You will probly see my name in the paper for takin one of them out one day. later.

I quit FPL 2 years ago after 25 years with them, it was a good place to work. What are you talking about Geisha did a good job for them, she got the numbers down, got rid of any no loads, and put moral where it should'nt be. She is a real piece of work/C*#t. Good luck and be safe

Actually pg@e is about to hire 60 apprentices in the next few months i have been told. All general construction g.c., and preferably california residents out of the lineman schools. And most are going around the bay area. Like 31.00+ to start.

Dont quote me on that but the smart fella would watch the website daily just to make sure. Guess pg@e would have to close down its construction school if there aint enough apprentices.
