There is no harm in having people "pick apart" a particular method of doing trouble or anything to do with linework. That's how you learn things. Sure people will be irritating and second guess, but that's just another way to learn things. It's all just an exchange of ideas in the long run.
I recall chiding a guy once for ding a linging around once with a bad pot on a 3 pot bank. He had a fairly long outage while waiting for help to change out the pot. I said. Why didn't you just open delta it? His reply. I thought that would change the rotation. No.
