It can be a shrug, but I call it the "I don't know" smilie.

No, it's not that. You just aren't familar with computer talk. If I had a tutorial video, I'd post it. That way you could visually see it.

I'm a hands on type of person myself. And I'm visual. So, I know what you mean.

Is there someone there that could walk you through my instructions Heavy? Grab them! Set them down and tell them to show you! :D

Talking of dumb and computers... The new breed of netbooks like the EEEPC's and the Acer aspire one are the perfect starter computer for someone who's not used to the things. Both run a customised version of Linux and hide all the scary bits out of harms way while just having a few big screen buttons for surfing the 'net with Firefox or doing other useful tasks.

The cheaper versions have a solid state disk (no moving parts), start up in about 15 seconds from off and are small and robust enough to throw into a bag. The Linux reduces the risk of viruses greatly, and the system can be reset to scratch in less than a minute if needed.

I got one of the first EEEPC's as a travelling toy and it's great. I'd recommend it for those who are a bit computer shy or feel that they are too complicated.

What inspired my random post about the mini Linux laptops is that I know a few engineering type dudes who tried to get on the Internet, but ended up with a laptop or computer sitting dead in the corner because they had it ravaged by viruses through no real fault of their own, because they simply didn't know what to do when the malicious "click here" boxes popped up.

here are little computers that are pretty much virus proof, easy to use without much computer knowledge and also easy to help them reset completely back to scratch with just a quick phone call and a talk through.

They're also the perfect little computer for when you're working away from home.

You should have a play with one Swampy, they're just so much slicker than a laptop loaded with bloatware.
