Had a trouble call at a senior citizen housing complex. A old guy pulled into the parking lot to work on his pick-up brakes. Well he had no breaks and couldn't stop and ran into a 167 KVA padmount transformer. He broke the primary bushing. The whole time we were working on the transformer he was annoying us and all the seniors there, every time he would leave the ones left would talk about how this guy was a know it all and a pain in the ass. When we were finished, my pole partner closed the cutout and the transformer stared to HUMMMM.........I looked at the old guy and asked him if he knew why transformers HUMMMMMM........ he said why no I don't. I then said, "it's because it doesn't know the words". Boy the old folks had a good laugh. He turned red and walked away.:eek:
