So who's been the most inspirational on the forum?

I'd like to nominate:-

Oldlineman for his depth of knowledge and the insight he gave into the early developments on live tower work.

RWD for his work abroad.

DBrown wherever he is for his technical input.

Clive I just did it because someone else would "Get to" if I didn't!

When I die if they can't say I lived an adventure I've failed.

Yeah, we kinda know you had your own motives to do it too, but the fact is you did do it and made a huge difference to country ravaged by war and politics.

Once you've boosted your own household income back to safe levels you can always go out again or do another "project". :)

There's more to life than earning cash.

When on the road in Sudan the family and the income to the family suffers. I hope to get away again this year but it seems I have to be a bread winner first this year. The wife has put down the gauntlet. I lose my favorite body parts if I go before certain financial duties are fullfilled. I'm not sure if I can catch up this year. Hope so!

SEABEES - CAN DO
WITH WILLING HEARTS AND SKILLFUL HANDS, THE DIFFICULT WE DO AT ONCE,
THE IMPOSSIBLE TAKES A BIT LONGER
WITH COMPASSION FOR OTHERS
WE BUILD - WE FIGHT
FOR PEACE WITH FREEDOM

This, I believe is on the Memorial to the CB'S in Arlington National Cemetery

I think it was 1983-1984. We were the first in rotation to Okinawa after the blue gold teams of ??? NMCB-3 ??? were put back into normal rotation. Camp Shields. I did the power line reconstruction of camp Kinser. I love Marines! High pockets I miss you .... but I won't talk about her.
