Merry Christmas from the Isle of Man. (Where I'm visiting my parents.)

Internet comnnectivity ain't so good here so I'll send my greeting while I can.

(All wooden distribution by the way. Island is too small for steel towers/pylons)

Merry Christmas to everyone from the frozen North. I managed to plug most of the drafts in this igloo and it is quite comphy now.

A manx are you, Clive??? What is Christmas like there. I'm serious as hell, mate. I respect your culture. Without it Canada could not be. The Scots built Canada and kept it free and Mann is part of the Celtic (pronounced Keltic) nations of the British Isles.

I wish you a great Yule Tide and a wonderful and prosperous Hogmanay!

Manx mother, but I was born in Scotland. Been to the IOM every year of my life. The Manx do like their Celtic heritage, but they also love their Viking heritage and many of the tradesmen have a beard and pony-tail in the viking style.

Here's a pic I took while walking up from Port Cornaa beach back to the parents house....
