Looks like the developers have been playing Halo those suits look the Master Chief in the game lol. That guy Stephon Jacobson also reminded me of the bad guy in Robo-cop:D But that is seriously cool just think of what weapons systems will become "man portable" as you said Swamp another 10 years.....

When they said the suit was "tethered" perhaps they didn't quite show the full amount of external equipment that was controlling that frame. By all means they could build it all into a suit, but the battery wouldn't last too long.

When I was an apprentice I helped wire some relay and circuitry panels for barrel stacking robots that basically had a human in a seat and their hand and arm movements were translated directly to a barrel grabbing claw complete with force feedback. Lamberton Robotics. Very impressive. One guy could basically load a lorry full of barrels single handed.
