I thought I'd clean up our Faces to Names thread that Big Clive started so we can just view some of the pics of us here on PLM.com.

If you want to post a pic of yourself in the "Faces to Names" thread that will be fine and I'll post them here in this one for just viewing purposes. I'll try and flag down Byron and ask if we can make it a sticky.

Now, if it's not okay to do this, you guys had better yell! Because since you did post them I'm figuring it was "okay" to make this thread. :D

They are alpha order by name. Three didn't work for me. They are: Barehander, Dave@, and Alan Mac. I don't know what I did wrong, but I'll keep working on it.

How's things at Pfizer? Have you discovered the delights of PLC's, Ladder Logic, VFD's and how even the most robust proximity detector can get trashed in the line of duty. More importantly has the other side of electrical technology swayed you from the distribution side?

things at Pfizer went well, did ya get the message that it was only a summer position? ya there was a LOT of PLCs and ladder logic, enough to drive a man crazy:eek: ya, someone sheared off a proximity switch on a hydraulic product door by pushing it too far lol.

it is homecoming week at school and the seniors theme was winter.....we weren't decoratein for christmas lol.

So...We were out drinking in Chattonooga,TN and we had a very...healthy girl drive us and pick us up, well when we got back to the hotel she started gropin' at me, I spooked, started running across the parking lot, and pulled a full on facial skid across the pavement. The alcohol wouldn't let me put my hands down to save my ass or nuttin' :D

Thank you Ms. LostArt. The village people, that takes me back to my 8 track day's, you know when you could get 10 8 track's for a penny, then of course you would have to buy so many at the regular price to fullfill the contract. I was 10 when that song came out, but at that time was unaware that the village people were also coming out, of the closet that is. I will admit that I had that 8 track only to find out later in life that alot of musicians that I had listened to had chosen an alternative life style. It is funny that my daughter's enjoy that song YMCA, and dance and spell out the letter's, it make's me happy to see them smile and giggle, alot of good energy. They also enjoy Queen, they will say daddy's can we listen to "The Queen's" CD as we are driving down the road, again I get a kick out of that, as Freddy was a bit of a queen himself. But I will stick with the captian for now, I am a bit of a caveman myself, UGH!

For several years back when my kids were in middle school, the 8th grade teachers put on a show for the graduating 8th grade class. The last day of school was spent as a celebration to them. We would have their awards, which took up a couple of hours, and then the rest was the "show".

The two years that my kids were in 8th grade I was a part of that show. Alot of fun. I played the background dancer to Aretha Franklin's R-E-S-P-E-C-T, was carried off the stage into the crowd(by the resource officer) when our Dean was playing Elvis and I ran up to him all googly-eyed as a star gazed fan, and then I was part of the Village People crew. :D

I kept hearing, "Is that Mrs. D??? Oh no, it IS Mrs. D!" Both of my children were surprised and laughed about it. They came home telling their dad, "Can you believe she did that dad?" He responded with, "I'm not surprised with any crazy thing your mom would do. Remember, I knew her when she was clowning around on the football field wearing a bulldog suit. She can't help it though."

LOL! Funny you should ask. I was approached by the cheerleading squad if I would be interested in being the mascot..........all but one. The head cheerleader. She thought I should "cheer"..........in other words...with the pom poms, and the whole prissy scene that cheerleaders do. I told her, infront of all the other girls (my classmates), "If I wanted to be a cheerleader, I would have went out for the squad, now wouldn't I?"

It was finally decided that I was the mascot....and could pretty much do what I wanted to do. But, what got me in the most trouble(and ended up being tackled by the opposing team) was shaking my stubby short bulldog tail to the opposing team. :D

I was NEVER a teacher. Just a lowly office grunt----still am. Yes, Franklin can sing and no Bush was not a pretty cheerleader.

Thanks EL! I'd had her just a few hours when that pic was taken on Dec 28.....she was 12 weeks old then and maybe weighed a pound, she's about 6 lbs or so now, first Black Pomeranian I'd seen......named her LBG, for Little Black Girl, but she answers to Baby Girl!!:D The black around her eyes and mane is turning into a reddish brown now, and is real pretty and she is a spoiled rotten mess and too smart for her own good!!
