Yes that is how I have done it before, but I was told by another tramp that this had changed recently. I just wanted to see if Florida had really changed to this.

Is this regulated by IBEW or is it by Florida Power (& Light)? Or maybe Progress Energy?

Ummm..........is Progress Energy union?

The utility footing the bill negotiates with each contractor coming to help. Most Union contractors either go for their home Local scale or the scale the Local is paying where the work is, whichever is greater. If indeed the utilities in Florida have decided to only pay contractors 222 scale on storm work, you'd better get yourself a good generator, LA.

Ohhh....boy. Right now I'm just dealing with the fires Tramp. I went back home (our property near Lake City, FL) today to see my mother-in-law and they were closing down all the roads (I-10 and 75). Coming back I finally got on SR 27 and it was bumper to bumper....like being on 75.

When the smoke clears, I'll go and get that generator whether the Boss wants one or not!
