What is the deal with lin-man.com? I have made only 5 post and they put me on warning. What the hell is that and there talking about kicking me out of there. anybody else have problems on that site? Call one person on that site a no climbing bucket baby and the crap hits the fan!!!

yeah, I went and checked out that site/forum and the guys have tags under their forum names saying **** like "Line-God". WTF is right. Especially when a few lines down it says that they are 15 ft dare devils. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it can be a difficult job splicing telephone but no one should be considered a line god.
Man its like a bunch of little girls, if the " im better than you gang" dont like you then your crap, all I said was we would go to Ark, and get a fuse buddy from a guy that didnt want to send it after it was paid for and they flipped!! had to cuss out 2 or 3 mods over there. One of them just joined the union after doing line work for 15 years and he cant climb so now his union forman is trying to teach him to climb, so I called him a 15 year bucket baby lol!!! oh well!!

I could never find my way around that site. It has so many options that you can never find things twice. (Bit like the new photo gallery here I'm afraid.)
Maybe we should have a competition to see who can invoke the biggest flame war on the other site with extra points for being kicked off. :D

I'm 44's wife. . . actually we haven't had any problems with Princess. Our biggest problems were with John (TLW) and Shirley(dragonfly) and Bill(639)and then a few mods had some problems once we had problems with them. Don't get me wrong there are some really great prople over there IF you can weed the DRAMA QUEEN and the ****HEADS out. But some people just can't leave things alone. . . almost feels like they are stalking you at times.

Whats wrong with bucket baby, I don't climb much anymore. It's nice having bucket trucks. That being said, I can put the hooks on today and show the young bucks a thing or two. Last December after the wind storm, I'm the lower Linemen in the pict.:eek:

I'm a 3rd generation Lineman. Father in law is a narrow back. Brother in law an electrical engineer. Before my brainstem stroke I was the poster child for a lineman. I have only one thing to say...

Didnt catch anything worth keeping but thats ok.I didnt really go to fish anyway :D I got to spend time with her and then drove back home and got to spend the evening with my daughter and son in law. Come on guys, let's let it drop, shall we? I plan on it. Let's not drag problems with two different sites against each other. I've come to realize that I didn't fit in over there, but there are a few over there that I still have some respect for. Some are ladies, tele linemen, and even powerlinemen.
I'm not telling you all to not post over there, do what you want. Some just feel more comfortable over there and some visa versa here. But, I really don't think either owner(s), there nor here, want a lot of controversy or ying yanging back and forth. And if they want their mods to post over here and cause it for them, it's their problem. And of course Byron's if he wants to do anything about it.
I've opt to let you all come to your own conclusions about my troubles over there, some of you have asked and I have emailed you the reasons. And some of you already know and have even witnessed my demise over there. And there are some of you who don't give a flip! Which I totally AGREE with! :D
And that is all I'm going to say/post about it.
