Pension Laws

From what I understand the Government has changed the way pensions will be calculated starting in 2007. Can anybody explain to me how this will effect us ? Is it a mandatory change for every employer or is it dependent on each pension plan and what your company provides. Thanks, Stick

same thing I heard friday. They told us their not sure how it will affect our pension plan. But they did mention the multiplier may go down. The powers that be in our local are going to send the info out once they talk with lawyers and figure it out.
