I don't know how many. This is the first time in 5 years my surgerys have been healed enough to make a 400 mile plus day.
I do know the American Legion Riders and the Kansas Patriot Riders are some hard core serious riders.

The Kansas Patriot Riders supply a buffer zone on all military funerals, that might have those religious protester show up that think fag's and gays cause American Troop deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan. Sorry to say that group is based in Topeka Kansas.

Arrived home (Edna,KS)8/26/2006 3,856 miles total door to door. This morning can't straighten up.

We had a good safe run with only 2 injuries.

Post 20 Coffeyville, KS donated around $600. Not bad for a post with 9 American Legion Riders, and less than 6 months old Riders Group.
We WILL do better next year

Don't let 3,856 miles in 8 days fool you. The last day home was only 160 miles due to rest in Wichita Ks when my back finally gave out. Pain meds and Tequila do wonders.

This is no brag just fact. I was the only Kansas Rider to start and finish the whole run. I am as far as I know the only Lineman. I ask and nobody admitted being one??? Anyway not bad for a 62 year old crip.

Anyway vist the blog and see what's what. Anyone still interested in donating to the cause will find directions at the blog or in previous post above.

OH BY THE WAY AS OF 8/24/2006 $82,000 WAS RAISED AND MORE COMING.
