Company pays the lowest benefits,and has the worst health insurance out of ten comparable utilities in the NW. Voting on another crappy contract tonight. Our bargaining committee voted 4 to 1 against considering this latest contract, but our good old local business manager met privately with the company and decided to send it out to a vote. I thought he was supposed to be working for us...we were 1.5 days away from our strike deadline...when this guy folded...

Crappy contract was voted down last night. Now maybe the Union and EWEB will listen to the majority. Back to the table.
