drug test, psyco evaluation, back round check, written test (on what i dont know),climbing ,rescue, stick work, more climbing, gloving (they love orange),grounding, safety.most instructors are pretty cool, there are a few others. it will be hot (90's). the company is over 100 lineman short,so chances are good but who knows what they think?.....good luck but you shouldn't have any problem.

just say no

be prepared to work in dade or broward counties....lots of r/o, so make sure your hooks are sharp.....but most of all be prepared to being forced to work 16's almost every day, especially during the summer months....take a good look at your wife and kids, cause you won't see them much...and forget about any kind of hobbies.......your work will be your hobby...good luck..

I would check into other companies myself, they are many jobs available for a trained lineman

I went down a few years ago put my wife and I up at Don Shulas resort [Real nice] treated the ladies real good wined and dined them.As far as the assesment everybody hit most of it on the head ,the written test's are not too bad all pretty basic line work questions a few on banking but they will send you what you need to know I think it was YY,Y Delta,DELTA DELTA ,and Y open Y not positve but somethig like that. The physical wasn't hard change a pot on spur's ,change an insulator simulated hot out of a bucket [lots of orange], change a single phase insulator on spur's simulated hot with wire thong and saddles , install ug termination and a dead man resque. Drug test interview etc etc. I got the job but being Canadian I want to wait for a Green card that I own and not a training visa that the company owns so if I hate it I can't work elsewhere in the states have to go back to Canada and no job.
Work safe or not at all Spur
