Mail In Ballots For Ratification Vote Local 499 Sucks

When did they start doing the mail in ballot, whatever happened to the show of hands vote.

Local 499 is going to be voting on a contract and it will be done by mail in ballot. This way of voting on a contract blows. It sucks, no one has to show up anymore.

This contract is going to be a real nut buster for anyone under 50, RMA medical accounts, lose of retiree benefits, for anyone under 50 very serious issues here at local 499.

when I was at fpl, the younger guys were sold out at fpl by our own brothers who were to scared to standup,got soldout and they kept thier jobs,but from what i hear from old friends there the tide is soon to turn with new guys returning the favor by doing the same to them..............is'nt life funny sometimes

Hey Weevy, I think it sucks too, but lets not lose our heads here. Now is the time we need to stick together. Lets get the word out and VOTE THIS DOWN!! We need to fight this with a vengence. If we pass this contract it will be the end of 499 and 109. :mad:

Warren is projecting to make 1 Billion (1000 Million) this year, up from 525 Million last year.

No reason for any one of our members to lose 1 cent. We need to take a stand and let Warren know that as long as he keeps making more $$$ we expect to make more $$$ too. I am sick and tired of the Corporate Greed in this country.

If it goes anything like our last vote went. Don't worry it'll pass. Supposedly if you don't include your return address, don't quite fill everything out just right it gets tossed into the trash. Plus you never ever hear what the final tally on votes was. Makes you go hmmmm
